You fell, you heard a pop…
Now your knee is swollen, stiff — maybe even a little unstable — and it‚Äôs hard to walk‚ĶYou don‚Äôt know where to turn. So, you call a few friends for advice. Then you hop on Google‚Ķ and now think you tore your ACL ‚Äì CRAP.
Now what?!
It is in this moment where you feel the most vulnerable. We resonate, and understand this feeling on a deep level as we have likely been in your same shoes ourselves.
ACL tears are one of the most common injuries we see come into the clinic, and is often a patient’s first injury they have ever had. Our number one priority is to make sure that you are supported and provided with the best care and plan right from the jump.
We can get you into the clinic as soon as a few hours after your injury, we are able to screen your knee for which structures might be compromised. After testing your knee, we work with you to determine what the next steps are. If we suspect that your ACL is torn, we have the ability to get you into an Orthopedic Specialist in your area right away. From there, we help guide you in scheduling any further medical follow up. We work with you and centralize action around what is most important to you and your goals, ultimately helping you secure a recovery plan that you are confident in.
Each person’s healing journey is incredibly unique, which is why we approach each new patient with open and supportive care. Rehabilitation after an ACL injury can span from solely conservative measures all the way through surgical reconstruction and post-operative recovery protocols, and can last anywhere between six to twelve months.
When it comes to ACL Rehabilitation, we have over 20 years of experience. Our skilled providers will fight for and advocate for you every step of the way, ensuring that you make a full recovery and get back to doing what you love.
