Cheryl Tenpas, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Cheryl earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Rhode Island in 2009.
After graduating, she developed an interest in pelvic health under the mentorship of a PT specialist while living in Lake Tahoe. In her pursuit to learn more about this PT specialty area, Cheryl sought after and earned her CAPP (Certificate of Achievement in Physical Therapy) in Pelvic Health and in Obstetric (pregnancy and post-partum) physical therapy.
Cheryl relocated to Colorado in 2015, where she had the opportunity to work in a specialized pelvic PT practice, gaining valuable experience exclusively treating female, male, and transgender patients with pelvic concerns. She is dry needling level 2 certified through Myopain Seminars. Cheryl is also a 300 hour yoga therapist and strives to incorporate yoga-inspired exercises into her patient’s treatment plans.
Cheryl and her husband relocated to Bozeman to be closer to local family and maintain their mountain lifestyle. She enjoys running, skiing, cooking, and spending time with their three dogs in the great outdoors.
