Dade Smith, PT, DPT
Dade Smith, PT, DPT joined the team at Lone Peak Physical Therapy in 2015 and returned home after completing his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy at Regis University. He enjoys seeing patients with a variety of orthopedic and sports injuries and has a particular interest in promoting health and preventing injuries in our active Gallatin Valley patient population. He routinely uses a combination of manual therapy, exercise, functional assessment, and dry needling to accomplish these excellent patient outcomes. Additionally, he has continued education in concussion management across the age spectrum.
Based upon his experiences as an NCAA athlete at Gonzaga University and mountain biking racer, he has a unique insight into helping his patients set and achieve their personal performance goals. He prides himself in educating patients on the benefits of physical therapy and exercise throughout the course of treatment and beyond. His focus on education provides patients with the knowledge and skills needed to be their own advocates for their health and prevention of injury re-occurrence that allows them to return to what they love.
When not in the office you can find Dade enjoying the Gallatin Valley and enjoying all that it has to offer. He enjoys exploring the area with his wife, Michaela, his son, and two dogs. He can most likely be found mountain biking any time of the year, or snowboarding. He also enjoys fly fishing and hunting.
