Our Big Sky + Performance clinic is located in the Meadow Village in Big Sky. We specialize in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Return to Sport, Personal Training and also offer full service Gym Memberships.
Our team of providers are passionate about getting you better, faster in this accelerated rehab environment. The cornerstone to our care, is our 1080 Quantum & 1080 Sprint Return to Sport Testing and Training – A cutting edge system that exposes, measures and corrects strength imbalances in your body.
We also offer comprehensive modalities such as ASTYM, Dry Needling, Cupping, Myofascial Release and BFR Training to aid in speedy recovery.

Mary Marshall DPT, OCS, CSCS
Physical TherapistMary Marshall graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010 from the University of Montana and has worked at Lone Peak Physical Therapy since 2014. Since graduating she became a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Mary has a Bachelor of Science with Psychology and Biochemistry majors from the University of Tasmania, Australia.
Mary has worked primarily in orthopedic outpatient settings and really enjoys helping people progress through the stages of healing to get back to activities they love to do. Mary individualizes treatment and gives patients the education and skills to accelerate healing and be empowered to maintain healthy living. Mary treats a broad spectrum of orthopedic conditions, sports related injuries, women’s health and is certified in IMS functional dry needling for trigger point release and ASTYM.
Mary is a PSIA level III Alpine and Telemark instructor and Clinician in both disciplines for the Northern Rocky Mountain Division. She likes to integrate her skiing experience with Physical Therapy and specializes in the biomechanics of skiing.
Mary is married with two children and likes to be outdoors with her family, particularly skiing, rafting or mountain biking.

Physical TherapistHeidi Bowman earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Montana in 2011 and joined Lone Peak Physical Therapy that same year. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine from Colorado State University.
Her PT philosophy is to give you the individualized tools and techniques to get you back to doing what you love to do. Heidi’s professional specialties include orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, and women’s health pre and post-partum. She is certified in Applied Functional Science, Functional Dry Needling, and ASTYM.
In her free time, Heidi enjoys spending time outside with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys summer mountain running but loves winter downhill and Nordic skiing most of all!

Jahnel Knippling

Patient Coordinator & Personal TrainerJahnel movved to Big Sky in December 2006 and has worked for Lone Peak as a Patient Coordinator since May 2019. Today, she is also a certified Personal Trainier and loves helping other achieve their fitness goals.
Outside of work, Jahnel serves on the Board of Directors for Wellness in Action.
She also manages the Yeti Dogs Softball and Sweeping with the Enemies Curling Teams.
She enjoys skiing, hiking with her dad, and playing pickleball with YPPC.

Andrew McInnis DPT

Physical TherapistAndrew attended Springhill College in Mobile, AL where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 2016. From there he went on to obtain his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama. After receiving his Doctorate he practiced in a private outpatient clinic in Birmingham, AL for 2 years before transitioning into a traveling physical therapist. He was able to practice in various settings around the country from California, Seattle, Colorado, Virginia, and finally landed here in Big Sky, Montana. Andrew brings with him a multitude of knowledge, over various settings, enabling him to incorporate this into his clinic practice.
Andrew is a native to Mandeville, LA growing up playing a plethora of sports, mainly soccer, and earned a scholarship to play for Springhill College. He loves to take his past experiences and implement them to help anyone from the active athlete to the common weekend warrior. During his off time he loves to enjoy the outdoors from hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting. If it involves the outdoors he will be there.
Andrew has obtained two certifications through Evidence in Motion: Level 1 Functional Dry Needling and Clinical Integration of Functional Dry Needling.

Occupational TherapistLori Swenson earned her degree in Occupational Therapy in 1994 from the University of New Hampshire. She has experience working in acute and sub-acute rehabilitation, outpatient upper extremity rehab, school systems and pediatrics. Lori considers herself a generalist. She has experience in evaluating and treating a variety of diagnoses from treatment of the upper extremity for neurological and orthopedic challenges, splinting, fine motor coordination to include handwriting, feeding and swallowing, vision and perception, cognitive executive functions, social skills, and evaluation and training in the use of, and access to, AAC and assistive technology. Lori works with all ages from early infancy to adults. Her approach to her practice as an OT is patient centered; which includes therapeutic media that is always tethered to function and purposeful goals for unrestricted occupational performance in self-care, functional mobility, leisure and recreation in this beautiful place we call home.
When she is not at work, Lori is the mother of three children and she loves to hike, flyfish, and back country ski with her husband.

Physical TherapistMike is a native Montanan who earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Montana in 2009. His specialties include orthopedics, sports medicine and treating chronic pain. Mike’s goal is to use functional rehabilitation and restoration of normal movement in order to improve everyone’s ability to” live better”.
Mike is an expert in the field of Applied Functional Science (AFS). He enjoys using a “hands-on” approach including the use of Functional Dry Needling to decrease both chronic and acute pain.
When he is outside of work, Mike enjoys mountain biking, hiking, camping and skiing with his family.

She currently works in Big Sky as a Patient Coordinator.
Outside of work Mary is a Trained Shiatsu Therapist.
She enjoys a variety of activities including horseback riding, biking, wake surfing, golf, skiing, and pure barre.
